Last day :(

Today has been the last day, we´ve prepared our robots for the sumo battle. They gave us the ring before the competition and we´ve tried our robot and we won almost everybody, but then, the real combat arrived. In the first battle we fought against some friend of mine and our programmation failed we still dont know why and we lost, but we could even win. We won the next 3-4 battles and the 5th battle was against the 1st group that arrived there with a poor programmation and luck, but they arrived there. We started the battle and in the first 5 secs we could have won but as I said before they were very lucky, then our robot knocked up their but in a luck movement their robot won. After the break there was the secod chance, but someone throw away our robot stepping the conector and our robot was almost broken, but also with this problem, we arrived the final and we and our robot John Cena were like

But we lost the final against the lucky group because the robot could not endure more. In the end of the day we had a``brunch´´. It has been a great project and had a lot of fun I wish you coul try it too.

4TH DAY

It´s the 4th day and everybody is thinking of last day´s sumo battle, but before it we had to learn some new things. We´ve introduced a new sensor, the ultrasonic one, that detectes objects, like the bats

We had to program the robot to see some boxes and stop at the time he sees them, it was very easy, but after it we had to the same but backwards that was a bit harder but still easy. Then, we made a ``sumo battle´´ but you have to push some bottles outside the ring. In the end of the morning we finished building our robot and I programmed it.

3rd day

Today, we´ve added to the robot some sensors. But first, we´ve finished with yesterday´s bowling competition, we have only made 1 and we´ve won it!. Then, with the touch sensors, we made another bowling competition but modified, with a remote control you had to hit the ball, we didn´t win but it was really fun. In the end of the morning, we added the color sensor. They challenged us, to stop in some determinated colours. We cuould have done more, but there wasn´t more time so we went to do our other homework with the computer. Then, we finished the film I,robot that we started yesterday. John Cena plays lego... again!!

This was the 2nd day,
At first they told us to build a new part for our robot, it was like an arm, and you could drag objects wherever you wanted. After some testing, they challenged us to make a circuit, you have to pick some boxes and leave them in the zone where you started from, it was really difficult, because we had to do a lot of programming and calculate everything was so hard, but finally we could finish it. Afterwards, they told us we had to program the robot to kick a ball and knock down some papers. The first thing we had to build the thing which kicked the ball, later we´ve programmed it but we didn´t have time to do it. We also thought some techniques to win the last day sumo competition, our robot John Cena will win, have you got any ideas for it?

1st day, just learning.

It´s the first day of the proyects, we´ve learned some basic things, such as make the robot advance and turn.

The first 30 minutes they told us about what we will learn and what moral values we will develop, creativity. Then, they gave us the pieces to build it, firstly we didn´t understand it, because you had to orientate first and then build. They told us to choose a name for our robot, we decided to name it Zeus, but in the end we changed the name into John Cena. We were challenged by the instructors, the first 2 challenges were very easy, the 3rd was more difficult and the 4th one was literaly impossible, no one could complete it. In the afternoon we´ve started writting this blog.
